***EDITED*** So between the first time I left the park it was in need of straightening up but that was DEFINITELY not the case during our visit!!! The park was well manicured and clean. Nice clean equipment for the kiddos and plenty of seating and private areas if you want or big open pavilions. There’s also a walking trail that is I believe is .97 of a mile which is concrete that’s in excellent condition! And the biggest thing is the fact that ALL of the water fountains worked, which was my only complaint last review. Thanks for listening to those that have the power to make these changes There are some really great things about this park, but the water fountains all being inoperable was a big downside for me. I love the fact that there are bbq grills placed all around the park! The pavilions and tables are really nice as well, while the bathrooms leave a lot to be desired but it is what it is I guess. The trees are VERY cool and almost make you forget the bathrooms.😏 Overall a pretty nice park and we will definitely be back.

Large park with lots of green space and multiple shaded playgrounds and walking paths. Apparently they recently removed a large "pirate ship" style playground which older kids in the community loved and were disappointed in the less exciting and smaller replacement. Perhaps grant money will come about that can add more exciting playground features in the future again.

Playgrounds are nice for the kids, covered so direct sun isn't on the equipment. Toddler playground available away from the big kids. Tennis courts, basketball courts, covered pavilions for rent, multiple restrooms, and a pool. The reason for my 4/5 stars is because the pool needs some improvement. A lot of issues with wasps in the changing area/bathroom and around the lifeguard stations, the snack shop wasn't stocked appropriately for it being the summer (no water or Gatorades, only sodas) but prices were affordable for snacks and entry fee.

Multiple playgrounds, very clean, and it felt very safe. As for myself, as an aviation photographer, it's a great location to view the B-52s flying out of Barksdale AFB when they take off to the southeast. Our toddler absolutely loved the size and scope of the park and its playgrounds. The park staff were super cool and friendly, and the volunteer police officer or deputy (I think his last name was Cole) was fun to chat with as a fellow KC-135 veteran. Great park, we very much enjoyed spending a few hours there...awesome job keeping it up!

Grew up in this park. Miss the pirate ship.
